Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Hitmaker Hat Co., we want you to love your hat as much as we loved making it. We know buying a hat online means you can’t try it on first and that’s why we’ve designed our return and exchange process to be as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
If something’s not quite right, we’ll work with you to make it right.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
We happily accept returns and exchanges if:

Your hat is unworn, in its original condition, and in its original packaging

Your return request is made within 30 days of delivery

The hat is not a custom or personalized piece (unless it arrived damaged or defective)
Items That Can’t Be Returned

Custom-made or personalized hats

Gift cards
-
Digital downloads or online courses

Clearance or sale items (unless damaged or defective)
How to Start a Return or Exchange

Reach out – Email us at maker@hitmakerhat.com with your order number and let us know what’s going on.

We’ll guide you through it – We’ll send you simple instructions for sending your hat back.

Ship it with care – Please use a trackable shipping method so your hat makes it back to us safely.
We’ll cover return shipping costs if we made an error or your hat arrives damaged. Otherwise, shipping is on the customer.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your hat, we’ll process your refund within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method.
If you’re exchanging for a different style or size, we’ll ship your new hat as soon as your return is approved.
Exchanges
We know sometimes a hat just needs to be a little taller, a little wider, or maybe a whole different style altogether. If you’d like to swap yours, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll get you into the right fit.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your hat arrives damaged or defective:

Contact maker@hitmakerhat.com within 5 days of delivery

Include your order number, description of the issue, and a few photos

We’ll send a replacement or arrange a refund, including any shipping costs
Cancellations
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours for a full refund. After that, we’ll do our best to help, but if your order has already shipped, shipping fees may apply.
Bottom line: We want you to be happy wearing your hat — and if you’re not, we’ll work together to make sure you are.
