Size & Fit
How do I find my hat size?
Use a soft measuring tape and measure around your head just above the eyebrows and ears, keeping the tape level. Record the circumference in centimeters and match it to our Hat Size Chart. If you fall between sizes, we recommend sizing up and adjusting with the inner band or sizing tape.
What if I’m between two sizes?
Always choose the larger size. Our hats include an adjustable inner band and can be made smaller with sizing tape, but a hat that’s too tight cannot be stretched comfortably.
What is the most common size?
Most women measure around 56–57 cm. Most men measure around 58–59 cm. If you’re unsure, start there and use our adjustable fit features.
Do Hitmaker hats run true to size?
Yes, our sizing follows industry standards. However, because our hats are handcrafted, there may be subtle variations. The crown shape and brim style can also influence how a hat feels on your head.
Can I try on hats before I buy?
We primarily sell online, but we do offer appointments and select retail events. Keep an eye on our Roadshow Schedule to see when we’ll be near you.
Care & Maintenence
How do I clean my hat?
For everyday care, use a soft-bristle hat brush (or a clean horsehair brush) to remove dust and dirt. Always brush in a counter-clockwise motion, following the natural grain of the felt. For lint or fine particles, a lint roller or a piece of masking tape works well.

Can Hitmaker hats get wet?
Fur felt hats are naturally water-resistant but not waterproof. A little rain won’t hurt, but avoid prolonged exposure. Always let your hat air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
How should I store my hat?
Store your hat in a cool, dry place. Use a hat box, or rest it upside down on its crown rather than on the brim to preserve shape.
How do I reshape a hat?
Most small dents or changes can be corrected with steam. Gently apply steam, reshape with your hands, and let it cool. For significant reshaping, we recommend professional hat care services.

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship across the United States and offer international shipping to select countries. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
How long does shipping take?
Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method.
Do you accept returns?
Yes. If your hat doesn’t feel right, we’ll gladly accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of delivery, provided the hat is unworn and in original condition. See our Returns & Exchanges page for full details.
How do I exchange a hat for a different size?
Contact us within 30 days. As long as the hat is unworn and in original condition, we’ll help you exchange it for the right size.
